"When I was 9-years-old,
a spark exploded inside me
— the moment I wrote my first song —
and that song would steer my life
in a whole new direction."
In August 2011, Erin Jamieson earned the national titles of Music Artist Talent Search Winner and Songwriter Winner at the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival an annual Christian event in North Carolina sponsored by Lifeway. The grand prize included the opportunity to record a 4-song EP with Lamon Records and Dove award Winning producer Dave Moody. Soon Erin was travelling back and forth between Nashville and her home in Maple Grove, Minnesota recording the CD Without the Dark which released in February 2012.
The new movie "Season of Miracles" (released on DVD October 1, 2013) includes music from the EP.
“Going to the Gideon Media Arts & Film Festival opened many doors for me, but this one was especially dear to my heart,” Erin explains. “Growing up with a sister who has special needs, I have seen first-hand the transformational effects she and others with special needs can have on a family and community. I feel so blessed to be a part of the team helping to tell this story that will bring hope to people and glory to God.”
Erin is currently a student at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee majoring in Songwriting.
"We've heard lots of budding musicians, but this lovely artist stood heads above. We fully expect this young lady to make a big name for herself in the Christian music industry."

"Famous stars often recall a moment that was their 'big break.' A Maple Grove teen may have just experienced hers."
